IPHONE

The iPhone is a line of smartphones designed and developed by Apple Inc. The first iPhone was announced by Steve Jobs, then CEO of Apple, on January 9, 2007, and was released on June 29, 2007. The device combined a mobile phone, an MP3 player, and a camera, and also included new features such as the ability to use multi-touch gestures for interaction with the on-screen display and an accelerometer for automatic rotation of the display.

The first iPhone was met with widespread critical acclaim, and quickly became a commercial success. The device's success led to the introduction of several updated models, including the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and iPhone 4S.

In 2012, the iPhone 5 was released, featuring a taller, 4-inch display and a new design. The following year, the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C were released, with the 5S featuring a fingerprint scanner and improved camera capabilities.

In 2014, Apple released the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, which featured larger, 4.7- and 5.5-inch displays, respectively, as well as a new design and improved camera capabilities. The following year, the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus were released, featuring a new 12-megapixel camera and the ability to shoot 4K video.

In 2016, the iPhone SE was released, which featured a smaller 4-inch display and a design similar to the iPhone 5S. That same year, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus were released, featuring a new water-resistant design, improved cameras, and the removal of the traditional headphone jack.

In 2017, the iPhone X was released, featuring a new 5.8-inch OLED display, Face ID facial recognition technology, and a new design with minimal bezels. The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus were also released that year, featuring a glass back and wireless charging capabilities.

Since then, Apple has continued to release new iPhone models, such as the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone 11, iPhone 12, and the most recent iPhone 13 with newer technology and features, such as improved cameras, faster processors, and 5G capabilities.
