ኒጀር በተባበሩት መንግስታት ድርጅት የጸጥታው ምክር ቤት ፕሬዝዳንትነቷ ለአፍሪካ ድምጽ ሆናለች ሲሉ በተመድ የኢትዮጵያ ቋሚ መልዕክተኛ አምባሳደር ታዬ አጽቀስላሴ ገለጹ።

በተባበሩት መንግስታት ድርጅት የኢትዮጵያ ቋሚ መልዕክተኛ አምባሳደር ታዬ አጽቀስላሴ ኒጀር የጸጥታው ምክር ቤት ፕሬዝዳንትነቷን በስኬት በማጠናቀቋ እንኳን ደስ አለሽ ማለት ያስፈልጋል ሲሉ በትዊተር ገጻቸው ላይ ባስተላለፉት መልዕክት ገልጸዋል።
ኒጀር በቆይታዋ ለአፍሪካ በጣም ወሳኝ ድምጽ ሆና መቆየቷን አመልክተዋል።
ወደ ጸጥታው ምክር ቤት ምክንያታዊነትና ጥበብ የተሞላበት አካሄድ ይዛ መምጣቷንም ነው አምባሳደር ታዬ የገለጹት።
እንደ ኢዜአ ዘገባ ኖርዌይ በተባበሩት መንግስታት ድርጅት የጸጥታው ምክር ቤት ወርሃዊ ፕሬዝዳንትነትን ከኒጀር ተረክባለች።

Niger won the presidency in December 2021.
Ethiopia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Taye Atsekelassie Niger, congratulated the Security Council on its successful completion of its presidency.
He noted that Niger has always been an important voice for Africa.
According to Ambassador Taye, she has taken a rational and wise approach to the Security Council.
According to ENA, Norway has taken over the presidency of the United Nations Security Council from Niger.
