An early holiday gift! Tyler Perry and his model girlfriend Gelila Bekele have welcomed their first child together, sources confirm to Us Weekly. The couple's son Aman Tyler Perry arrived on Sunday, Nov. 30.
"They are totally and completely excited, and really looking forward to their first holiday with their son," a source tells Us. "Everybody is happy and healthy."
Us confirmed back in September that Perry and Bekele, 28, were expecting. The If Loving You Is Wrong creator announced the news to loved ones at his 45th birthday bash at his Atlanta, GA., home on Sept. 22.
"They are overjoyed and really, really happy," an insider told Us at the time. "He was so happy in the moment so he told the guests."
Days later, Perry accidentally revealed that the couple were having a son. "The greatest gift I'm being given right now is the opportunity to give the little boy in me everything I never had, so that's what I'm excited about," the filmmaker-mogul said during an interview with Extra.
"This beautiful human being that God has allowed to come into my life for me to get to know, because they come with their own personalities," he continued, "...to shepherd and usher him."
