አፄ ምኒልክ በአድዋ ጦርነት ላይ የተዋጉበት ጎራዴ ከአሜሪካ ወደ ኢትዮጵያ ተመለሰ።  

በወቅቱ ከጎራዴው ጋር ተዘርፎ የነበረው የእንጨት መስቀልም እንዲሁ ተመልሷል።

በተጨማሪም ቀዳማዊ ኃይለስላሴ የተላላኳቸው ደብዳቤዎች፣ ፎቶግራፎች፣ ፖስት ካርዶች እንዲሁም የጽሁፍ እና የምስል ቅርሶች ወደ ኢትዮጵያ ተመልሰዋል።

የኢትዮጵያ ቅርስ አስመላሽ ብሔራዊ ኮሚቴ ቅርሶቹን ለቅርስ ጥናትና ጥበቃ ባለስልጣን አስረክቧል።

የባለስልጣኑ ዋና ዳይሬክተር ፕሮፌሰር አበባው አያሌው ወደ አገር የተመለሱትን ቅርሶች ጠብቆ የማቆየት ኃላፊነትን ተቀብለናል ብለዋል።

ቅርሶቹ በታሪክ የሚነገረውን የኢትዮጵያን ቀደምትነትና ኃያልነት በተግባር የሚያሳዩ መሆናቸውንም ተናግረዋል።

የኢትዮጵያን ታሪክ በተለያየ መንገድ ለማጠልሸት ለሚጣጣሩ አካላት ምላሽ የሚሰጡም ናቸው ብለዋል።
