POSITION: ADJUNCT PROFESSOR OF AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE PRACTICES
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: PART TIME INSTRUCTOR
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:
Ph.D. or master’s degree in aviation maintenance, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field, earned in residence through a full-time program at an accredited institution. Relevant certifications (Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification).
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:
Practical experience in aircraft maintenance roles, including work in maintenance facilities or with airline companies, is desirable.
Possess expertise in Aviation Maintenance Technology: In-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, and regulatory compliance; Aircraft Systems: Understanding of various aircraft systems, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and propulsion systems; Safety and Regulatory Standards: Familiarity with ECAA regulations, safety protocols, and industry best practices in aircraft maintenance; Inspection and Quality Control: Expertise in inspection techniques, quality assurance, and maintenance documentation; Troubleshooting and Repair: Skills in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in aircraft.
LANGUAGE
Knowledge of ET working language English is mandatory.
