የኢ.ፌ.ዴ.ሪ ጠቅላይ ሚኒስትር ዶ/ር ዐቢይ አህመድ ጥሪን በመቀበል ወደ አገር ቤት ለመግባት ለተሰናዱት የደቡብ አፍሪካ የኢትዮጵያ ዳያስፖራ አባላት በፕሪቶሪያ የኢትዮጵያ ኤምባሲና በተባበሩት የኢትዮጵያውያን ማህበር በጋራ አሸኛኘት ተደርጎላቸዋል።

ኢትዮጵያኑ ሀገራዊ ጥሪን በመቀበል፣ የውጭ ኃይሎችን ጫና እና ጣልቃገብነት በመቃወም እንዲሁም የመከላከያ ሠራዊታችንን በማበረታታት እና ከቤት ንብረታቸው የተፈናቀሉ ወገኖችን በገንዘብ በመደገፍ ከፍተኛ አስተዋጽኦ ማድረጋቸውን በሽኝቱ ላይ የተገኙት የኤምባሲው የዳያስፖራ ሥራ አስተባባሪ አቶ ጌታቸው መኬቦ ተናግረዋል።

ጥሪውን ተቀብለው በመጓዝ ላይ ያሉት በደቡብ አፍሪካ፣ በሌሴቶና እስዋቲኒ የሚገኙ ኢትዮጵያውያንና የኢትዮጵያ ወዳጆች ከ250 በላይ እንደሆኑ የጠቆሙት አቶ ጌታቸው፣ በራሳቸው መንገድ ወደ አገር ቤት የተጓዙ በርካታ ኢትዮጵያውያን መድሃኒት እና ሀገር ቤት አስፈላጊ የሆኑ ስጦታዎችን ጭምር ይዘው መጓዛቸውን አስረድተዋል።

በኢትዮጵያ ላይ የተቃጣውን የህልውና አደጋ ለመቀልበስ ሲል ህይወቱን በመገበር ላይ ላለው የሀገር መከላከያ ሠራዊት አስፈላጊውን ሁሉ ድጋፍ ማድረግ፣ በወራሪው ኃይል እኩይ ተግባር ከቤት ንብረታቸው የተፈናቀሉ ወገኖችን ወደ ቀደሞ ህይወታቸው እንዲመለሱ ማገዝ እንዲሁም የሀገሪቱን የውጭ ምንዛሬ አቅምን ማጎልበት እንደሚገባ አሳስበዋል።

በዚህም ሀገራዊ ህልውናን ለማዳከም የተሸረበውን ሴራ ከማምከን ባሻገር በአጠቃላይ በሀገሪቱ ላይ የተደቀነውን የህልውና አደጋ ለመመከት በሚያስችል መልኩ የተጀመረው የዲፕሎማሲና የሀብት ማሰባሰብ ስራ ተጠናክሮ እንዲቀጥል ጥሪ ማስተላለፋቸውን በፕሪቶሪያ የሚገኘው የኢትዮጵያ ኤምባሲ ገልጿል።

 The Ethiopian Embassy in Pretoria was hosted by the Ethiopian Embassy in Pretoria and the United Nations in Addis Ababa.

 Getachew Mekebo, the Embassy's Diaspora Coordinator at the Embassy in Addis Ababa, said the Ethiopians have made significant contributions by responding to the call of the country, resisting the pressure and interference of foreign powers, encouraging our defense forces and providing financial support to the displaced.

 According to Getachew, more than 250 Ethiopians and friends of South Africa, Lesotho and Swatini are on their way home.

 He called on the Ethiopian Defense Forces (EDF) to provide all necessary assistance to the Ethiopian Defense Forces (EDF) in order to alleviate the threat posed by the invasion of Ethiopia.

 He called on the Ethiopian government in Pretoria to intensify its diplomatic and resource mobilization efforts to curb the threat to its very existence.
