Ethiopian Airlines, the largest and most profitable airline in Africa, is pleased to announce that it has been recognized as “Best Airline to Africa” by one of the most prominent travel magazines in the United States, Premier Traveler, at a ceremony held on 4 December 2014 in Los Angeles, California.

In June 2015, we will further cement our position as the airline of choice for travel between Africa and the U.S. by adding Los Angeles as our second point in the U.S. Our flights connecting Addis Ababa, Dublin and Los Angeles will be operated with the B787s, which offers unmatched on-board comfort, and will be the only direct service connecting Africa with Ireland and the West Coast of the United States.”
In August 2014 Ethiopian received the Best Airline in Africa award by Passenger Choice Awards,the most extensive survey of passengers in the industry. The African Airlines Association (AFRAA) also named Ethiopian African Airline of the Year at its 46th Annual General Assembly held in Algiers in November 2014.
